Establish a scholarship in the name of your loved one or business for students attending Catholic Schools To invest in the future of our faith community is close to my heart. The risen Lord asks us to hand over our faith from one generation to the next. We are establishing scholarships for children attending St. Elizabeth School from St. Jules and St. Elizabeth Church Parishes. We are also establishing two scholarships for students attending any Catholic high school. If you are interested in establishing a scholarship in the name of a loved one or in the name of your business, a minimum donation of $1,000 is requested per scholarship. Please make the check out to St. Jules or St. Elizabeth Church with a memo: Catholic School Education Scholarship.
Volunteers for Parish Office The sustainability of our parish will depend on people volunteering at church office. We are in need of a Church Custodian who has skills in maintenance, and an official photographer for the parish events.
Bible Study for Individuals, Families and Groups Beginning October 10 The aim of this Bible Study Program is to read the Bible on a regular basis. This year, we will read the Gospel of Luke. You will read assigned chapters weekly or watch a video, and then you will answer some of the questions that will be sent to you in a quiz format. I encourage you to read the Bible as a family with your children, and to do the quiz together. It is going to be fun, with grace-filled moments for families. We will use The New American Bible Revised Edition (NABRE). The Youth Bible given out to High School students is the same version with some more explanations. Students can use that Bible. If you do not have the NABRE, you can access the Bible online: https://bible.usccb.org/bible/luke/0.
